IMPARTIALITY
Impartiality Statement
Below is UNT's public statement on the independence, impartiality and confidentiality of its testing activities:
- UNT shall strictly comply with relevant national laws and regulations, follow the principles of objectivity, independence, fairness, impartiality, honesty and good faith, and provide society with impartial, scientific, accurate and efficient testing services;
- We treat all clients with a scientific, fair and impartial attitude, upholding the impartial position of a third-party testing and inspection body;
- We undertake to conduct testing business only within the scope of our qualifications, take responsibility for the testing reports we issue, bear the corresponding legal liability, and refrain from false or misleading publicity;
- We do not forge or fabricate test reports; we remain independent of all parties with an interest in the testing data and results, and free from any commercial, financial, administrative or other interference that could affect our technical impartiality;
- We do not engage in the design, development, manufacture, supply, installation, use or maintenance of products related to the items we test or to similar competitive items, nor in related technical consulting, promotion or commercial activities, and take part in no activity that would impair the independence and integrity of our testing judgement;
- We shall not transfer, forge, alter, lend or misuse accreditation certificates and marks, shall not use certificates and marks that are invalid, revoked or cancelled, and shall not forge or alter the seal of the testing body;
- We shall not employ personnel who concurrently work for two or more testing bodies;
- We strictly observe professional ethics and shall keep confidential any state, trade and technical secrets learned in testing activities; we shall not provide any client information, samples, testing results or conclusions to other organizations or individuals, nor use them for our own technology development or technology transfer;
- We shall continuously identify risks affecting impartiality, carry out risk analysis and implement corresponding management measures to eliminate or minimize such risks;
- We sincerely accept supervision and complaints from the government, consumers and all sectors of society.
